9,000-Ton Injection Molding Presses in North America
Cascade Engineering is known for having a 9,000-ton injection molding press—one of the largest in North America. This press is used to produce high-tech waste containers for the nation's leading waste haulers. In 1997, Cascade Engineering made international headlines by using that same press to develop the world's first all-plastic automobile body, the Composite Concept Vehicle, for Chrysler Corporation.
