NUBRID™ SERIES

The Nubrid™ Series of nanocomposites is made with a hybrid nano-filler system, combining either nano tubes (HNT) or clay with a traditional filler system. The hybrid approach provides some of the advantages of a nanocomposite system such as light weighting, scratch resistance and stiffness, but is more cost-effective.

Properties

  • High stiffness and impact
  • Good dimensional stability
  • Higher heat deflection temperature (HDT) than traditional TPO
  • Easier processing than conventional TPO
  • Range of melt flows

Injection Molding Conditions

  • Molding temperature range is 380 – 450 F
  • Water temperature range is 80 -130 F
